With the population of most modern countries going down and the proportion of retirees going up, automation will be the key to economic survival social order. The semi sector will be key to automating almost everything from mental to physical tasks giving those that adopt it an economic efficiency once considered unimaginable. The importance of semis will be key to economic and social stability. Our whole social, economic and educational structures will have to change if the world is to stay a social, economic and environmentally stable structure. The importance of the semi sector to be key in this progress is not to be underestimated. I feel the SemiWiki community will be key players in the transformation of almost everything that will make this possible.
