- President Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Monday that he met with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan.
- “His success and rise is an amazing story,” Trump wrote.
- The meeting came days after the president called on Tan to resign.
“I met with Mr. Lip-Bu Tan, of Intel, along with Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, and Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “The meeting was a very interesting one. His success and rise is an amazing story. Mr. Tan and my Cabinet members are going to spend time together, and bring suggestions to me during the next week. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Intel didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Half-full narrative to resign seems to be forgotten and he is an amazing success!
Half-empty narrative he is on the hook to bring some dollars and and value to Trump’s view of value. Is it going to be tens of billions of investment. Will LBT earn enough to have a seat at the state of union ?
