Will Israel launch a cyber war to defend itself?

Israel definitely has the talent and is going to run out of hardware at the rate their using it, even with allies restocking it. Any thoughts on when cyber war will come of age and be a branch of most militaries? How far along do the readers feel this trend already is? Just look at the CrowdStrike disruption, imagine it put on steroids. Any thoughts about the latest weapons and defenses used in a cyber war would be appreciated.

Cyber warfare is rapidly advancing towards becoming a formal branch of the military. Many nations are already establishing specialized cyber units and incorporating cyber capabilities into their defense strategies. The recent CrowdStrike disruption highlights how sophisticated cyber attacks can be, and advanced tools now include targeted malware and ransomware.
