Will Apple use the foundry model for Autos

Arthur Hanson

Well-known member
Apple may use the foundry model to build cars. There are several companies that build the components to entire cars out there and Apple has the money to change the industry, just like it helped TSM become the power player of the semi industry. There is no reason Apple couldn't assemble a team of companies to build an Apple car, like the assembled a team of companies to build a phone that has become the standard to beat. Tim Cook is a supply chain expert and this would be but just another supply chain for him to build.
