TSMC's "Internal Trainer Program" Nurtures Outstanding Talent

TSMC is committed to its people vision and passes on professional knowledge and experience through its internal trainer system. Each year, the Company holds the "TSMC Excellent Trainer Award" to recognize trainers with outstanding teaching performance. Over the past year, more than 4,000 internal trainers have trained over 460,000 participants. To further enhance teaching capabilities, TSMC has launched the new "Internal Trainer Program." This program features modular courses focusing on three essential teaching skills: delivery, facilitation, and design. It empowers internal trainers to convey knowledge more effectively, guide participants, and optimize course content, ultimately improving learning outcomes. As of October 2024, a total of 1,156 participants have joined the training program, with an average course satisfaction score of 97. This initiative has become a key driver in nurturing talent within the Company.

Course Design Progresses from Basic to Advanced, Strengthening Three Key Teaching Skills​

To comprehensively and systematically enhance the teaching abilities of internal trainers, TSMC focuses on three core skills: delivery, facilitation, and design. Collaborating with external experts, they have developed nine courses across basic and advanced levels, expanding to Hsinchu, Taichung, and Tainan sites. The delivery courses emphasize clear communication of professional knowledge and demonstrating a confident presence, while also teaching virtual classroom techniques to boost participant engagement. Facilitation courses help trainers inspire learners' enthusiasm, manage interactive dynamics, and provide effective feedback. Design courses guide trainers in structuring content, organizing existing lesson plans, and enhancing presentation design skills, making it easier for participants to grasp professional knowledge. Internal trainers can select courses based on their needs, and the instruction from external experts serves as an exemplary model, allowing trainers to deepen their teaching skills and accumulate experience for knowledge transfer.
