System Modeling White Paper

Some folks sent me email asking why this white paper now? Here is the response that others may find useful as well.

Although, System Modeling and TLM2.0 has been around for a while, it is still not well understood among the new adopters why they should. Even though there is much bigger understanding and acceptance among early adopters; new adopters in semiconductor industry have not yet paid enough attention to justify transition. Partly, benefits only multiply when the budget for all three hardware, verification and software are considered together. Which is typically at business unit level. If decision makers are the hardware only or software only groups; they can live in the old paradigm.
