It looks like there may be a pathway to desktop room-temperature quantum computing, but only time will tell. It looks like the project is well enough along we will know for sure if the technology works in the real world in a year or two. If so this development could be a real game changer. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
An Australian/German company is developing powerful quantum accelerators the size of graphics cards. They work at room temperature, undercutting and outperforming today's huge, cryo-cooled quantum supercomputers, and soon they'll be small enough for mobile devices.
