Lisa Su is now going after Nvidia in the AI race. This can only benefit the race to AI as the competition in this area can only accelerate the progress already being made in this area. Any thoughts on whether she will be able to make AMD a viable force in AI will be appreciated. Either way, TSM will be the fulcrum on which AI/ML are built.
Good luck with that. Competing against Intel is one thing, competing against Nvidia is quite another. Nvidia has a very large software ecosystem to contend with. Did AMD stock get a bump after this?

This AI market is big enough to allow several semiconductor companies to be prosperous. Currently there is a shortage in high-end GPU and AI related hardware. It will force companies to use alternatives while not getting enough Nvidia products.

Agreed re: NVIDIA's software ecosystem. It's state of the art compared to what other players have to offer. They provide the tooling to monitor and support AI deployments, etc. It makes the combined NVIDIA offering very compelling.
