Normally politics don't belong here, but the conflict over Taiwan is critical to the entire semiconductor ecosystem. Hopefully wisdom and self interest on all sides will prevail.

Is something a conflict when only one side is threatening anything?

I used the free article limit, but there is much out there on this issue. The economic and physical destruction of a conflict would bring the world economy down, including China which already has severe youth unemployment challenges

If everyone else can see invasion of Taiwan as the end for China as it currently constructed , why do you think the CCP cannot?
