Is Nvidia using their chips to design their next generation chips?

It makes sense that Nvidia would be using their own chips to design their next generation of chips? It only makes sense and could be able to yield an ever faster accelerating progress similar to a nuclear reaction. If Nvidia is doing this and can pull it off, this would make their business model and chips one of the turning points in the history of man. This could change the world ecosystems for ever faster progress and would require massive changes in economic, educational, financial and even political and social systems to adapt. Any thoughts, comments and additions to this sought and welcome.

Absolutely. They better send their GDS2's (OASIS, whatever) layers to different mask shops. Are they allowed to put their own security guards at the foundry's back door.
