Without making any prediction Apple is priced today at a P/E of 10.34, which assumes if not a significant decline in the iPhone business then at minimum no prospect of growth for at least this year or next. If you adjust for its ~$160 billion of net cash you get an even sillier number.
A question. Which stock is safer, Apple at that price or US Government 10 year securities?
Another question? Intel's P/E today is 13.12. Which company has the greater threats against its monopoly? By say 26.88%?
My belief is just that most people were brought up on Windows so it is where they want to put their faith. In the meantime Tim Cook is investing through the recession we are now in.
