With memory becoming more important every day, it's not just the memory that's important, but the how the architecture for how it's used is set up. With 3dXpoint coming soon and Crossbar maybe on the horizon it will be interesting to see the architecture these and other memories use to speed or not speed data transfer. The layout of the memory will be shown to be as important as the memory itself. Below is an ideal example of that. Creativity and design can augment or overcome brute horse power.
