"Abington Cole + Ellery, a law firm specializing in class actions and intellectual property, has begun investigating the crashing and instability issues plaguing Intel's 13th- and 14th-Generation Core 'Raptor Lake' processors, with the potential of filing a class action lawsuit on behalf of Intel's customers."

Not a good year for Intel so far

In the end everyone affected will get a $25 paycheck like amd bulldozer it won't solve the issue for them

Where are the CrowdStrike lawsuits? That must have cost billions. Lawyers must have wet themselves when that was happening. Both of my banks had outages and thankfully I was not traveling.

Delta Airlines is suing CrowdStrike and Microsoft. I don't understand Microsoft's culpability, this was entirely a CrowdStrike issue, but I suppose attorneys always dig where the money is.

Yeah it seems weird they should be wiped from every affected government system

Can Intel simply replace those faulty processors altogether? Or Intel actually doesn't have enough good processors to replace those faulty ones? I guess the crew and the captain on a sinking ship do not care too much about the long term reputation and credibility anymore.

Intel customer bemoans CPU RMA process — furious owner says Intel claims brand new Core i9-14900K chips purchased from Amazon and Micro Center are fake

Intel’s crashing 13th and 14th Gen CPUs get two additional years of warranty coverage / A forthcoming patch won’t fix any damage already caused by the instability issues, but Intel is extending the warranty for the chips by two years.
