Chiplets indicate end, reversal of Moore's Law

I think Moore people should read Wally's book:

Download Predicting Semiconductor Business Trends PDF

Specifically Chapter 3 Moore's Law is Unconstitutional.

Gordon Moore made an observation/prediction in 1965 and for whatever reason it became a semiconductor law, which really is detrimental to the semiconductor industry as a whole. The most important thing in semiconductor advancement is cost per feature and we have done an excellent job in that regard. So let's stop the Moore's Law is Dead schtick. Gordon Moore is still alive by the way so show him the respect he deserves, absolutely.

And the author of this article is a click monger with ZERO semiconductor education or experience so let the reader beware.

The economic trend at the product scale still continues but the monolithic integration at the chip scale is being unraveled with the chiplet approach, reverting to discrete components instead of one integrated circuit. Moore's Law historically only applies to integrated circuits.
