Cars, The Next Battleground for Tech, Will Apple Rule?

Autos are going to be the next battleground for tech in everything from automatic driving to the controls of all functions to entertainment. It's not hard to see with all the changes in the industry, this will be the next mega-market for the tech of all types in every aspect of a car. Even what a car can do will be expanded from automatically paying for gas or electricity to even the planning and executing the route of trips. Google, Apple, and others are already drawing the battle line lines for this very large, lucrative market. The use of semis for everything from driving, diagnostics, controls, and entertainment is literally staggering and relatively untapped as technologies literally redefine transportation of all types.

Apple realizes the money is in the chips of all types and software which will be a large portion of the profits and better than building an Apple car.
