Bipartisan group urges US blacklist for ‘Beijing-directed’ chipmaker, YMTC

YMTC and SMIC should open fabs in the US, this appears to be the "golden road" (not a certainty but helpful) to avoid the blacklist.

Honestly, the best place for the Chinese tech industry (BABA, etc) to relocate to is the US, for the following reasons:
1) MRNA COVID vaccines
2) Plenty of electricity
3) Plenty of food
4) Broadly speaking, acceptance and mainstreaming of educated foreign immigrants
5) Stable banking system

The best place for the Russian tech industry too, same reasons.

It makes perfect sense. But first we need to convince Mr. Xi and Mr. Putin that there is a happy retirement life waiting for them.
