Apple/TSM proves the power of the Ecosystem, also China issues

While most tech companies have taken huge hits in the market over the last year, Apple has fared far better with a hit of less than ten percent. It isn't just about the product, but the ecosystem. This is why I feel Warren Buffett bought five billion dollars' worth of TSM since he looks not only the product, but the ecosystem, which in TSM;s case, shows a large disconnect. This is exactly where Warren Buffet has shown the largest return. He has also visited China as an honored and respected guest have invested in BYD. I have no doubt he has a better view of China than most. TSM's sales and customer list show they not only have the sales, but the ecosystem that not only comprises of them, but also Apple forming one of the most powerful ecosystems in the world with both having numerous key partners. China would be making a huge mistake. Both Apple and TSM have a large interest in China's actions and Warren Buffet is in an ideal position to view the situation better than almost anyone else. Any thoughts, comments or additions solicited and welcome.
