AMAT should buy Denton Vacuum

Arthur Hanson

Well-known member
Denton Vacuum has a key technology that could challenge some of AMAT's technologies and also looks to have a bright future. It my be in the interest of both parties and the markets for AMAT to buy Denton Vacuum. The combination could push the technology far faster and with far deeper market penetration to the benefit of both parties and the market. Any thoughts?

What values/technology do you think Denton Vacuum are unique and AMAT is short of them to span its advanced Tech Node WFE TAM? Which WFE Field? What revenue gain will this merge create in 5 years?

Read Robert Castellano's blog in the expert semiconductor forum on Apple's intentions and AMAT, an excellent read
