Besides being a technical wonder, AI/ML will change the world in business, social, political and financial structures in ways most outside the tech industry can hardly imagine or even comprehend. Disruption is coming on at an ever-accelerating rate and it's time for society, government, business and individuals to adapt. AI/ML is already increasing the rate of acceleration in progress in an ever-larger proportion of every facet of society, industry, education and government is ways most can't even imagine or comprehend. Now is the time for all facets of the world's societies to start planning on dealing with the changes AI/ML will bring to every facet of our lives for the massive benefit and speeding up of progress at a rate that governments, people, businesses and institutions most can't even comprehend. It is now time for all to start to work on how to harness this vastly accelerating power to benefit society as a whole, it is far too powerful be powerful to be left to chance. Now is the time to learn how to guide these powerful forces for the most benefit and least disruption. To not do this could lead to disruption so dangerous it could actually surpass wars for the amount of damage it could ultimately cause. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestion sought and welcome for SemiWiki is but one place where this discussion, planning and action should take place. Comments sought and welcomed.
