Will AI/ML change Everything? The greatest change in human history?

Arthur Hanson

Never in history has something as powerful as AI/ML backed up by massive memory been unleashed and we are about to see it in the space of the next three years. This will be a new frontier greater than the nuclear age or computers of the very recent past. Listening to Jensen Huang and Lisa Su it is obvious the world is going to go through more changes in a far tighter time frame than ever before for not only the massive intellectual power the AI/ML revolution will bring, but also its massive geographic reach. I hope the tech leaders also have the intellect and wisdom to help the world adapt to this massive change in a productive and inclusive way for with great power goes great danger. It will get into the wrong hands and this is not if but when and this should start to be taken into account now from the onset of this historical transformation. Any thoughts or comments appreciated. This is far too large an issue to be left on the sidelines or background. Now is the time to tame this massive power for the widest possible benefit for the most people. Any thoughts or comments appreciated for this will by its very nature take out of the box thinking for AI/ML will be the ultimate game changer in human history, for it is the first time the human race may actually create something more intelligent than ourselves by leveraging our current ways of accumulating and applying knowledge on a scale we have never come close to dealing with. Thanks
