In this video, I teardown a Lego SMART brick to take a closer look at how it's built, and the chips that are inside. I was mostly interested in the “bespoke silicon ASIC” chip that was designed specifically for this application. While I didn’t find any hidden silicon doodles, these chips were still great to look at under the microscope, even though the features are too small to see in detail. I’m impressed at how compact they were able to make this entire design. "
