It is good to see our friends at UMC growing again. GlobalFoundries lost 8% last year. It will be interesting to see what Q1 2025 holds for GF. The forecast is flat based on Q1 2024 but from what I hear there are challenges ahead.

They do seem quite active across all wafer sizes!!

They really need to prepare for the cut throat pricing competition coming soon from China's over-built mature nodes capacity. Good thing is foundry customers normally hesitate to switch fabs, but that may change if the pricing is 40% or 50% cheaper.
