UMC Building New FAB in Singapore

I'm a bit of a geography nut (have not yet been to Asia myself), it's just interesting. Closest I've come is New Zealand, where we saw a bunch of impeccably-dressed female flight attendants for Korean Air in their light-blue-green uniforms.

Taiwan definitely wins for # of wafers per month.

Does Hong Kong have any fabs? It's slightly larger than Singapore but still pretty small.

I suppose if you built a fab in Vatican City or Monaco you could beat Singapore for % of land area... if you could fit one in; Monaco is only about 2 sq km.

I have been in fabs all over the world but not Hong Kong. Hong Kong reminds me of San Francisco only cleaner.
