[Reporter Hong Youfang/Report from Hsinchu] Hsinchu Science Park held its 43rd anniversary celebration event today (15th). The main theme of the celebration was "Build 43 Bamboo, Open up the Mountains." Wang Yongzhuang, director of the Bamboo Science Park Administration, said in his speech that Bamboo Science Park Baoshan is a The construction of the first phase has been completed, and the second phase is TSMC's second nanometer production base. Public engineering and factory construction are currently in progress. The first second nanometer factory will be moved into the machine in April next year.

Wang Yongzhuang said that in the face of the traffic impact caused by the simultaneous implementation of public projects and factory construction, efforts are being made to widen roads and build expressway ramps. As far as he knows, they have received full support from the Executive Yuan. It is expected that with the continuous traffic construction, traffic problems will be solved. Hope to improve.

Wang Yongzhuang also thanked the partners in the park for their relay in promoting industrial leadership, leading Taiwan to transform into a technology-oriented high-tech power, laying the foundation for the development of our country's industry, and making bamboo the world's best. In addition to the sacred mountain that protects the country, he hopes that all industries can also shine.

Wang Yongzhuang pointed out that the construction of the first phase of Zhuke Baoshan has been completed, and the TSMC R&D center has been opened. The second phase of Baoshan is TSMC’s second nanometer production base. Currently, the five tenders for public projects have been progressed smoothly, and the first second nanometer factory is expected to be built. Machinery and equipment will be moved in next April. At present, public construction and factory construction are being carried out simultaneously, and there will inevitably be traffic impacts. The government is working hard to widen roads, and the Executive Yuan also fully supports the construction of highway ramps. Traffic construction is being carried out one after another, and it is expected to gradually improve Traffic problems. In addition, manufacturers in the Zhubei Biomedical Park are enthusiastically moving into the first building. The second and third factory buildings will also be contracted for construction, and the X base is also under construction.

TSMC previously announced that the research and development of 2-nanometer process technology is progressing smoothly and will enter mass production in 2025 as scheduled.

He said that in addition to continuing to build the park, Zhuke has also responded to the international net-zero trend. This year, everything from bicycles, cars to buses has been moving towards electrification. It has introduced YouBike2.0E electric auxiliary vehicles and large electric buses, and has also gradually added public facilities. The dedicated parking spaces and charging facilities in the parking lot will implement a low-carbon science park environment, while also benefiting residents in surrounding communities and moving towards the goal of co-prosperity and a good life.

The 43rd anniversary of Bamboo Branch was held today at the Park Industry Association. Congratulatory guests included Li Jingong, Chairman of the Park Industry Association, Legislator Zheng Zhengqian, Hsinchu County Mayor Yang Wenke, Hsinchu Mayor Gao Hongan, Miaoli County Deputy County Mayor Deng Guiju, etc. The Zhuke Management Bureau specially invited Wu Minqiu, chairman of Macronix Electronics, to give a special speech on "Why Taiwan", and also invited the TSMC Electric Dance Club to kick off the event, representing the people of Zhuke who work seriously and live attentively. The scene was warm and warm.
