I did not say you were ridiculous, I said your statement that there is a direct relationship between per capita GDP and fab costs sounds ridiculous considering the myriad of factors that go into fab costs, many of which are negotiated at the corporate level.@blueone ,
Please read my original post. My point is that Intel's cost is too high and not competitive. It's good if you want to dig into a specific area to discuss or you want to expand it into a broader subject. But please don't just chop one segment out from my comments and tell me that I am ridiculous.
I have noticed that you often use some strong "words" in your comments. I hope you can refrain yourself from using them. Those words do not help to create a professional, healthy, and happy environment on this board.
As for your points about Intel's costs being too high and indirectly quoting the CEO, I was pointing out that you were taking a statement about corporate costs and misrepresenting them as an indicator of the competitiveness of Intel's fab costs. Unless you have evidence otherwise, I'll stick to my original comment.
Regarding my directness, I think I'm sort of mild compared to others in this forum.
