Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported strong revenue growth in May 2026, reflecting continued demand for advanced semiconductors used in artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, and cloud infrastructure. As the world's leading foundry, TSMC remains a key beneficiary of the global AI boom, supplying chips for major customers including Nvidia, Apple, AMD, and Broadcom.

The company entered 2026 with significant momentum following a strong first quarter that saw revenue increase more than 35% year-over-year. Growth has been driven primarily by demand for advanced process technologies, particularly 3nm and 5nm nodes, which are essential for AI accelerators and next-generation data center processors.

Industry trends also support TSMC's performance. Global cloud providers continue to invest heavily in AI infrastructure, increasing demand for advanced chips. Taiwan's export data for May showed exceptional growth in electronic components and information technology products, further highlighting the strength of the semiconductor market.

TSMC management remains optimistic about the remainder of 2026, citing sustained AI demand and strong customer orders. The company is expanding manufacturing capacity in Taiwan, the United States, and Japan to meet future requirements. Despite geopolitical and supply-chain challenges, TSMC appears well positioned to maintain its leadership role in the rapidly growing AI-driven semiconductor industry.

HSINCHU, Taiwan, R.O.C. – June 10, 2026 - TSMC (TWSE: 2330, NYSE: TSM) today announced its net revenue for May 2026: On a consolidated basis, revenue for May 2026 was approximately NT$416.98 billion, an increase of 1.5 percent from April 2026 and an increase of30.1 percent from May 2025. Is it safe to say that some of this revenue is already coming from "2nm", as TSMC is likely delivering chips to Apple for this year's iPhone?

Yes, plus AMD and others which is different this time around. TSMC N2 is in HVM since December. It will be interesting to see if it is single or double digit revenue in 2026. My guess would be mid double digit (15%).
