TSMC did say 20-30% revenue growth this year and N3 is just now ramping up beyond Apple. 2025 will be a very big year, absolutely!
I saw so many outlets run with the headline “TSMC set to grow at 10%” when management clearly said they forecasted the semi industry overall to grow at 10% and TSMC will exceed that 🙄. Lazy lazy lazy

Considering the ASPs of AI chips are going through the roof a 10% industry growth (minus memory) seems conservative. Especially when TSMC is 2-3x of that.

Btw Lunar lake Arrow lake is entirely on N3B /N6 excluding packing so tsmc is benefiting from Intel volume AMD may slightly better product but don't have Intel volume and Intel software support

Yes, I said 10-20% at the beginning of the year for TSMC and single digits for the semiconductor industry.

Using your mid-range of 15%, that would put May as the highest YTD month (27.03%), with the following months regressively dropping to 15%.

Further, where the monthly YOY’s to date have averaged 28.6%, the rest of the years monthly YOY’s will average 7.6%.

Sounds like darker skies ahead.

The number is in TWD, and tsmc income is mostly in USD. If they don't hedge the exchange rate, the exchange rate along contributes 5% of increase in TWD from YTD.

IMHO, since TSMC reports in TWD, and given TSMC is headquartered in Taiwan, for true financial analysis, the TWD should be used.

Otherwise, of the hundreds of currencies, each will have dissimilar financial results, rendering them nearly meaningless.

There can only be one result for TSMC, especially for historical comparative analysis.

TSMC said 20%-25% revenue growth in 2024 during June 4th shareholder's meeting.
I guess it will be around 26%-27%.

I heard 20-30% which, from what I have heard at the latest conferences, is conservative. Could be over 30% if N3 ramp continues with strong orders from Intel and Apple.
