In the near future there will be a number of ways to use the human body as a power source for electronics. This will also hasten the path to the very large market for semis and semi technology making the bionic body not only feasible but common. Once this market starts, the growth will be geometric and at this point in time it's in the lab and soon to be in our bodies. There will also be wearable power generators, just like self winding watches. Nothing says we can't wear a small generator powered by the movement of our bodies.
