The best integrators of automation at every step of their game will win. With AI/ML/VR/robotics/IOT combined with big data the organization that can develop a clear path to automate every step of their processes will win. Not only does this make any process more efficient, integrating big data will give a constant flow of insights for improvements. With 5G coming on this can even become a seamless singularity with any benefit integrated into a process in real time. It will become part of changing education/training in such a way that an organization can train and recruit even very specialized people at a fraction of the cost as Salesforce does with its forward looking Trailhead program. This can dramatically lower the cost of education and make it much more relevant to the student and company. Not only does this provide the ideal team member at low cost, but a member who has proven the ability to be integrated into the organizations training program and project structure far better than a candidate who graduated from the standard generic program. In this case both parties win. In this way the integration into the automated systems used starts from the beginning and can be built on every step of the way to create an economic and technological advantage that will feed on itself and grow at the rate of the "Great Acceleration". In this way automation is the foundation and not an after thought. Learning to work with and integrating with increasingly sophisticated automation at every step from the beginning is key. With the shorter and shorter high economic value of everything from processes to knowledge to products the ability to adapt at ever increasing speed demands a structure built for ever increasing speed by the ability to adapt and use the latest technologies and processes. The information provided by the network will make the best path stand out far more and in the best processes provide even the intuition to make the best decisions. The process of integrating and using automation is the skill set of the future in everything from a fast food business to the most sophisticated fabricators of finished products. This is the opportunity the semi/nanotech industry has given us and is up to us to use it. The companies that lead in this will be the companies I invest in, for they will be the winners.
I consider Marc Benioff one of the most dynamic people in the tech industry. Setting up a free training program for people out of high school is the ultimate win/win for both parties and the country, for the utilization of time and resources on all parties is the best in the industry. The student doesn't have the cost of tuition, books or commute for not only time efficiency, but economic efficiency. Even the government wins for these graduates start paying taxes earlier and at a greater rate. I'm surprised many other companies have not copied this model for it has been proven successful at one of the top companies in its use of technology. This is the ultimate win/win/win situation for the person/company/society. It is this mindset extending through every aspect of business that has made Salesforce the success it is. Not investing in Salesforce is one of my many mistakes.
In US high schools we need to weed out the vast number of low qualified teachers, automate much of the teaching and substantially increase the pay of the remaining highly qualified teachers. Although I went to high school many years ago, half of my teachers had no right to be there and the other half deserved far more pay than they received. I should note I wasn't in a great school district. The bottom line is only a smart population and can make smart decisions and using automation at every step of the process will leverage our intelligence better than any other process.
If anyone knows of companies with similar models could you please post for the benefit of everyone from students to investors.

Below is a link in Forbes and this shows just how fast AI/ML/IOT/5G/VR is coming on faster than most can even imagine and anyone or company that isn't prepared will lose. Like I have written about before there are 300K researchers working on AI with the most sophisticated tools. This wave will change EVERYTHING and is almost impossible to overestimate.
