  • - Siemens outlines future of industrial infrastructure with next generation ‘X’ technology portfolios.
  • - Strategic cooperations signed with Accenture, PLN Enjiniring, and Telkomsel to drive local technological innovation.
  • - 7 Indonesian universities receive state-of-the-art PSS®SINCAL software grants to empower the next generation of engineers.
PT Siemens Indonesia officially launched the Siemens Tech Summit 2026 (STS26), bringing together industry leaders, technology partners, and academia to drive Indonesia’s digitalization and energy transition agenda.

“The Siemens Tech Summit 2026 is not just a showcase of technology; it is a catalyst for execution. By combining our digital portfolios with strong local partnerships, we are helping co-create a more sustainable and competitive future for Indonesia,” said Surya Fitri, President Director and CEO of Siemens Indonesia.

With around 1,000 industrial participants, the summit highlights practical pathways to accelerate industrial transformation and achieve net-zero targets, focused on integrating the real and digital worlds. This event was supported by AWS Indonesia, AWS Indonesia, TWINK Indonesia, Metro Abdibina Sentosa Group as the Platinum Event Partners.

Driving Innovation Through ‘X’ Platforms

At the core of STS26 is Siemens’ “X” portfolio—open digital platforms designed to scale transformation across industries:
  • - Industrial Operations X: advancing autonomous, data-driven manufacturing
  • - Electrification X: enabling smarter, more resilient energy systems
  • - Building X: improving efficiency and sustainability in buildings
  • - Gridscale X: supporting the transition to autonomous energy grids
These technologies are complemented by dedicated Knowledge Hubs covering Financing, Energy transition, Industrial AI, Digital transformation, Sustainability, and Cybersecurity—brought to life through live demonstrations at the Technology Expo.

Strategic Collaboration to accelerate digital transformation and industrial ecosystem in Indonesia

A key milestone of the summit is the signing of strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Accenture, PLN Enjiniring, and Telkomsel to accelerate Indonesia’s industrial digitalization. These collaborations aim to unlock new efficiencies and enable scalable, data-driven industrial operations.

1. Accelerating End-to-End Digital Transformation

Through its partnership with PT Accenture Indonesia, Siemens will jointly design, deliver, and scale end-to-end digital transformation solutions. This collaboration integrates expertise in Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT), leverages artificial intelligence (AI), and deploys integrated digital platforms to address industry needs comprehensively.

2. Strengthening the Power Engineering Ecosystem

Together with PT Prima Layanan Nasional Enjiniring (PLN Enjiniring), Siemens has established a strategic partnership to strengthen Indonesia’s power engineering ecosystem. The collaboration includes the joint development of engineering services, knowledge exchange, technical collaboration, and capacity-building initiatives.

3. Driving Enterprise Digitalization through IoT and Data Analytics

In collaboration with PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), Siemens will accelerate enterprise digitalization by delivering technology upgrades, Internet of Things (IoT) integration, and advanced data analytics solutions. This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making across industries.

Investing in Future Talent

Siemens also announced a partnership with seven leading Indonesian universities, providing PSS SINCAL software to support advanced power system simulation and engineering education. The universities are:
  1. - Sekolah Teknik Elektro & Informatika Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB)
  2. - Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang (ITN Malang)
  3. - Universitas Brawijaya (UNBRAW)
  4. - Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA)
  5. - Universitas Trisakti (USAKTI)
  6. - Universitas Jember (UNEJ)
  7. - Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (POLSRI)
This latest partnership reinforces Siemens’ long-standing commitment to education, which has already reached nine universities and is now expanding to seven additional institutions in 2026. Each will receive PSS® SINCAL software valued at IDR 100 million. The impact is already evident at universities such as ITS and IT PLN, where the software has been integrated into the curriculum since 2024, helping 40 graduates secure internships and career opportunities. With consistent access to this technology, students gain hands-on experience that closely reflects real industry practices, enhancing their confidence and readiness for the workforce.

To further strengthen the talent pipeline, Siemens will also launch a SINCAL student competition next year. The competition will challenge student teams to solve real-world power system cases using the software, with submissions evaluated by industry experts and winners receiving substantial cash prizes. These initiatives underscore Siemens’ continued commitment to developing future-ready talent and supporting Indonesia’s transition toward a more resilient and sustainable electrification sector.
