This year Israel is becoming hot ground for acquisitions.
Amazon is reported to acquire Annapurna Labs, did anyone hear about Annapurna earlier?
Annapurna Labs is a company owned by semiconductor tycoon of Israel, Avigdor Willenz.
It develops microprocessors that allow fast data traffic for low-power computing and storage servers.
The company is in business for communication and processing platform for data centers.

Why Amazon is buying it - to strengthen it's cloud services. With Annapurna, it will establish
a semiconductor R&D center in Israel.

With IoT and data volume rising, are we going to see the Cloud boom this year?
Semiconductor industry is going to play a pivotal role there.
