The applications of semis fab technology is going to be extended far more broadly and deeply in our world than most imagine. It's all about Faster, Better, Cheaper and also smaller with less power consumption. The new semi foundries are going to replace many of the factories of the past for this reason and are already well on their way to doing it. Incorporate sophisticated 3D printing of materials and you have a whole new world. The next step will to be to take these technologies to make biological items and parts. Anyone who thinks there are limits to what can be done with the tech coming out of the semi sector, has their eyes closed. This alone will fuel a whole new era of growth.
