Samsung Suffers Another Setback as Galaxy S25 Reportedly Features Micron’s LPDDR5 over Its Own

On the "win" side, it looks like they're the primary source of GDDR7 for Nvidia 50 series launching this month. But not having memory for their own phones.. oof..

Samsung has always allowed product groups to source from competitors. It helps their margins (it might hurt the chip groups but that is their problem)

Very strange, because spec-wise Micron LPDDR was behind Samsung, both hotter, and slower.
