A robotic lab has discovered 700 new materials in record time and at low cost using AI. This is just the very beginning of the AI/ML/Automation revolution that is going to come on faster and bigger than any revolution in human history. Planning for and anticipating the changes AI/ML/Automation will bring are going to be critical if we are to avoid the massive economic and social damage this revolution could bring and instead seek to maximize the benefits. This will take wisdom and planning with the will to do so. It is already past time to start preparations for the most massive change in human history. Any thoughts, comments or expansions on this sought and welcome.
