Xiaomi tablet (or I don't know whether to call it phablet?), a 5.5" with full HD display was launched in China last week and went on sale yesterday. It sold 800000 units in just 12 hours. Another sale event is expected to be early next week. Also, there will be an even in India tomorrow.

As expected, it has MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 SoC and octa-core Cortex A53 running at 2.2 GHz. It has 2 GB RAM, 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. Software - MIUI 7 which is based on Android5.1 Lollipop. Important to note - 3020 mAh battery.
It's dual-sim with 16 GB and 32GB storage variants. You can have both sim with 4G or 1 4G and 1 3G.

The price range for there variants is approximately between USD $125 and $155. That seems to be a good value bargain!

Is the Phablet / Tablet and Xiaomi fortune turning? Here is a link on the sales report from China.

That's a great value for the price, because a comparable Samsung phone costs about $249.00 with a two year contract from AT&T here in the USA.

Xiamoi even copied the "Note" name from Samsung, talk about a cloned product.

"Value for Price" seems to be the key these days, if not in China, at least in India.
Recently, I have seen most of the low-priced phone suppliers setting up their manufacturing base in India - Xiaomi, Karbonn, Lava, and now Lenovo.
