Qualcomm can dump Google

There are workarounds of course, but again, do you expect the majority of users to do that? Then add another app, such as google maps. You expect normal users to try to work around that too?
The answer is obviously no. So no major phone company will release phones with that expectation. Meaning that the whole idea of "Qualdroid" is dead on arrival.
If it comes pre installed than users won't care.

We have open source alternative for everything tbh. We can ship those by default and ask if they want to download Google stuff they can do so but we ain't shipping it.

Do you really think that would work for any major phone maker? That they would sell a phone that can't run YouTube or Google Maps? Or any other google app or major third-party app?
And think about that as a consumer. Do you think most consumers would buy a phone with terrible reviews because it cannot run essentially any apps (excluding the niche open-source ones)?

Depends on location In korea Google is seldomly used they use Naver Maps it all comes down to location where you are selling the phone.
I don't think People buying phones In china would care about google mapes.

You're really twisting yourself in knots trying double down on this argument huh?
Okay I'll play along. And we can even pick a company that has a high market share in China and SK, to give you the benefit of the doubt. So let's say you're Samsung. Would you actually say that since ppl use Naver in SK and others in China, that you're good with giving up on the US and EU?
