PQShield, the market leader in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), has announced major upgrades to its UltraPQ Suite, delivering what it states is the smallest-ever PQC solution for the embedded market, the world’s first full-stack post-quantum TLS, and new protections against physical attacks on embedded devices.
The announcement was made at Embedded World in Nuremberg, one of the world’s leading events for embedded systems and IoT security.
At the centre of the update is PQMicroLib-Core, PQShield’s ultra-compact cryptographic library designed for highly constrained devices. The upgraded version delivers quantum-resistant cryptography with a footprint of less than 5KB, making it one of the leanest professional-grade PQC implementations available for embedded environments.
This breakthrough enables manufacturers to integrate future-proof cryptography into devices with extremely limited memory, including sensors, industrial controllers, secure elements, and next-generation IoT infrastructure.
Growing Industry Momentum Around Post-Quantum Security
As organizations prepare for the transition to post-quantum security, PQShield continues to contribute to industry discussions around real-world PQC adoption, particularly in embedded systems, telecom infrastructure, and industrial IoT.
