I am new to the community. In couple of months I am going to start my research work in PDK development and EDA. I have searched on SemiWiki website and found a research paper. Could anyone tell me any resource or material for PDK development ?.
My main focus would be PDK development and EDA for IoT.
Thanks you for the link. I have registered a visitor account there. I should start reading about open access and OpenPDK to get the basic knowledge of PDK development. Am I going in right direction ?

The Open in the names referred to in the si2 projects may give wrong impression. If you need access to anything that really can help you, you will need to go through some paper work. You'll need to find if your institute is already part of the comites or if not who can give you permission to for example sign the OpenAccess license.
Sorry frasheed, my hype detection alarm just went off.
I don't see anything specific related to the IoT hype term for PDK development.
Do you have support of a foundry ? I'm quite critical on a project for 'IoT PDK development' that does not have access to real practical fab data/engineers.

Actually we will be working for flexible electronics that will be used in IoT. I will join the group in November 2016. May be then I can tell you more
BTW my Institute is not listed on Si2 website. I have to ask my supervisor any possiblity to join Si2.
That is a possible niche, I agree. People overhere have working on MEMS and one of the most difficult things for PDKs is to have the involved parties agree on some standard way of doing things and then agree on a standard way of designing. For modeling anything else than eletronic devices I think it is worth to have a look at or have a chat with COMSOL Multiphysics(R) Modeling Software

Please check out About - ASAP7: 7-nm Predictive PDK, this is recently developed, fairly realistic PDK developed by ASU in collaboration with ARM. The PDK is free to download and comes with an accompanying journal paper (link on the site). This should be quite helpful as it covers FinFET devices and some state-of-the-art lithography assumptions for the 7nm node.
