Microsoft Game in Mobile!

We didn't see much happening after Microsoft acquired Nokia. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
Microsoft is not silent, it's up with two budget smartphones - Lumia 640 and 640 XL recently announced in MWC.
The phones seem to be making big buzz with the kind of offering and price point they have.

The display is good at 5" in 640 and 5.7" in 640 XL, both are at 720p resolution. Both have quad-core Snapdragon processor at 1.2GHz and 1 GB RAM. The camera in 640 XL is 13MP rear and 5MP front with Carl Zeiss optics. 640 has 8MP rear and 1MP front cameras. Battery is great at 2500 mAh in 640 and 3000 mAh in 640 XL.

It's already open for pre-order in UK, Germany, France... look at details here. In U.K. 640 is booking at 170 pounds while 640 XL at 219 pounds. In India, it's to be launched soon with expected price of 640 at ~$160 and 640 XL at ~$210.

With these prices, and such value-add features, I think it will be a tough contender in the low priced phone markets. Can Microsoft win the race in mobile, starting with these blockbusters?
