Memcon 2014 - Conspicuous Absence

Were you there? It would have been a pleasure to meet you. Now that you mention it Micron was MIA. I really enjoyed Mike Demlers keynote. The Samsung keynote not so much as it was more of a product/company pitch. Chris Rowan is always good, he is one of my favorite panel speakers, very quick and responses to difficult questions. No Martin Lund this year. Martin is one of my favorite keynote speakers. What about Hynex? Intel? TSMC was the only foundry. When will the others learn that the ecosystem is everything?

I was there and presented in the afternoon. I can't be certain, but I thought I heard Samsung say they are not going to produce HMC, instead 3DS and HBM are their TSV based solutions. I did not sit through the SK Hynix HBM presentation.

Micron is presenting HMC for networking next week at Linley. Can't wait to see what they have to say.
