Unless Apple introduces another major breakthrough, it will be difficult to see a significant increase in demand driven solely by its M‑series (PC) and A‑series (mobile) chips.
Even though Nvidia has recently surpassed Apple to become TSMC’s top customer, estimates show that Nvidia now accounts for around 18–20% of TSMC’s total revenue, still below Apple’s historical peak of about 25%.
Since Nvidia relies on TSMC for HPC production, nodes that support BSPD, such as A16 and A12 are expected to become increasingly important.
