Gelsinger ruled Mesonic by the Street

Gelsinger is determined to dominate over AMD and Nvidia by any means including a price war financed by the US taxpayer, is the view on the street. The question is does he value the Ohio project over the dividends? I feel he's moving in the wrong direction. Based on these actions I feel Samsung and TSM should be eligible for support to build US fabs on an equal footing with Intel. Is it the job on the government and taxpayer to bail out bad business practices?

Intel does not need bailing out. It's a very profitable business. It's US economy that is in trouble because of chips shortages. That's who the government is bailing out. The subsidies will have multiple components. Some subsidies will be for manufacturing and Samsung and TSMC are likely to get some funds for that. Other subsidies are for R&D (tax reduction?). I do not think Samsung and TSMC are going to get much here for they develop the processes overseas.
