Finally - a real hoverboard

The flying time is only about 3 to 6 minutes. It's really short. Until there are some major breakthrough of battery technology, this device is hard to be useful as a a toy or as a tool.

True - but it actually does hover, unlike the other type. And I could imagine (maybe) a fuel-cell generator which could extend the hover time. You could go solar too but then the board has to get huge.

Agreed a toy for now, but an interesting direction

Or, if one day people can find a way to control the gravity, then this won't be an issue any more. Dreaming ....:rolleyes:
 
Hey and it's so cheap - at $15,000. The best part is how the founder looks like he is being oh-so careful to not fall off of it.

I do wish them luck, so the price can come down. I guess compared to $8,000 for a first Segway this is a bargain.
