On June 9, 2017, The DINI Group initiated a lawsuit against Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) for breach of contract. [pdf of Complaint is here] The Complaint stems from Cadence’s decision to use information created by The DINI Group and contractually designated as restricted intellectual property to create a competing, knock-off product ( i.e., the Protium S1 Single-FPGA Board). The DINI Group is seeking damages, profits and injunctive relief.

DINI Group is a leading provider of large FPGA boards for ASIC prototyping and HPC.
