Chinese regulators have slowed down their merger reviews of several proposed acquisitions by U.S. companies, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, a move seen as a response to Washington's curbs on China's tech industry.

What deal/pound of flesh do you think that Chinese regulators would extract out of companies like Intel to approve their mergers?
Do you think these companies would be able/willing to offer enough sweeteners that even if the US gov keeps up the sanctions on chips, the Chinese regulators would approve of the mergers? (of course, without going awry of US gov sanctions)
