If ASML leaves DUV repairs to SMIC and other Chinese firms to handle, China could learn sensitive information about these machines helping Chinese foundries and other tech firms in the country to build knockoff DUV machines.

I think Chinese fabs are repairing/servicing ASML machines by themself already. At least at Huawei's fab，which ASML or any other Western firms can not legally conduct business with.

Servicing ASML machines is not that hard，there is plenty of companies that are specialized in repairing/refurbishing second hand SMEs. The Russians are still producing chips with ASML machine as we speak，and I don't think they get any assistance of maintaining the machine from ASML.
