Not to say, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be the stars of this event. Also, Apple TV set-top box with A8 processor is expected be unveiled. What about Apple Watch? It has been rumored since long that Apple will fix some key issues in its next version. My guess is next version of Apple Watch may come as a surprise too. What say?
Yes, September is the typical launch date for new phones, so an incremental iPhone 6s and 6s + would be likely.
On the MacBook Pro product line I'd love to see Apple bring back the 17" model, or even a 19" model.
It's probably way too early to hear about the rumored Apple electric Car, but I'd love to know more about why they are hiring automotive experts that have a background with EV.
Recently, I looked at a large screen MacBook in a store; large screen seems outdated. There was no way other than to use it as a desktop. Any reason for your preference for 19" MacBook?

My display in the upper left has email and web browsing, top middle is web browsing, top-right is Windows 10 and browsing, 17" display is an Adobe app like Dreamweaver or Photoshop. I use every square inch of display space, and the more space the more productive I am.
Just consider how much more useful a smart phone is with a large 5.7" display, compared to the former 4.0" displays, bigger is better because I can see more and do more without having to constantly click on windows that are layered on top of each other.
There you go! I'm not alone in believing that notebook (if not desktop) business will never go away. Look at the convenience they provide when you are at home or office. Of course this business will not fly like smartphone business, it will not shrink substantially for a longer period. In my view, the notebook business will exhibit cycles like commodities. Refresh in 3 years when its life is over!
My notebook is now 5 years old and I'm waiting for Apple to bring back the 17" model of the MacBook Pro to upgrade. In the meantime I have maxed out the RAM at 16GB and replaced the hard drive with an SSD to speed things up a bit.
The other trend at Apple now is to disallow any upgrades on their notebooks by soldering in the system RAM to the motherboard, and gluing the drives to the case.
On the plus side, because the MacBook Pro body is constructed out of aluminum, it has a very long life and still looks new after 5 years of use, unlike other notebooks made out of cheap plastic that show their age more quickly.
