Alphabet hits $4 trillion valuation as AI refocus lifts sentiment

I read that. It still reads like nonsense. And not one peep out of Google about this.

Edit: still no mentions on the websites of Broadcom, Anthropic, or Fluidstack either. But SemiAnalysis has the scoop? If SA is correct, this is the weirdest multi-company news leak I've ever seen.
Broadcom CEO announced $21B ($10B + another $11B) in revenue from Anthropic -- selling them TPUs -- during the last Earnings call. This has been widely quoted and reported.

There were announcements of the Anthropic - Google partnership on both company's Websites. (>1M TPUs)

You obviously didn't read my post quoting Google. The deal between Google and Anthropic is for TPUs in Google Cloud.

There is absolutely nothing on Broadcom's website about Google TPUs. The AI product content on their website is limited to Broadcom's Ethernet products. There's nothing about any TPU deals on their website news tab either. All of the reporting, like this reference:

Looks like bullshit to me, because there's no supporting verifiable company announcements.

The only information that gives even a hint of some Anthropic deal for physical TPU chips is that the NY Times reports that, according to court documents, Google owns 14% of Anthropic. But there are no corporate references to any deals beyond the Google Cloud announcement.

Prove me wrong, if you can.

Yeah, but the narrative flops around between:

"Anthropic will have access to up to one million TPU chips, as well as additional Google Cloud services, which will empower its research and development teams with leading AI-optimized infrastructure for years to come."

and

"Broadcom is supplying Google-designed TPU v7p chips in the form of fully assembled “rack-level AI systems,” ready for deployment in Anthropic’s data centers. In effect, Broadcom is selling a complete computing solution directly to customers, bypassing Google in the process."

That second one is way outside of Broadcom's core competencies - building racks and systems, and the data center AI software stack.

Here's the Broadcom company overview, presented in Dec 2025:

Nothing about Anthropic or TPUs.

They mention XPUs, which includes TPUs in Broadcom vernacular, but the XPUs Broadcom refers to only includes Broadcom SuperNICs for Ethernet, like this one:

The SuperNICs and their Tomahawk switch ASICs comprise the majority of their AI chip product revenue.
