Since joining Siemens in 2011, Lockard has held a series of senior legal leadership roles spanning the company's U.S. operations. Most recently, he served as U.S. deputy general counsel. Over the course of his tenure, he has led U.S. litigation and the corporate legal team supporting governance, technology, procurement, communications, and employment matters. He also served as lead U.S. counsel to Siemens' former Industry Automation business, advising on complex commercial, regulatory, and technology issues.
Prior to joining Siemens, Lockard was a partner at Alston & Bird in Atlanta, where he focused on litigation and regulatory matters for a range of industrial clients. He holds a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and a juris doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
