"Anastasi In Tech" on Intel Fab 52 and 18A

By accident I bumped into this movie from yesterday. Sometimes a bit too much "sales/PR" approach for me, but it contains many clips from Fab 52 (it seems?).

It also suggests a High-NA EUV production tool is in Fab-52, but some here on SemiWiki suggested (MKWVentures) this tool is in Hillsboro?

Anyway, perhaps the INTEL-movie is useful for Musk's new hires at Terafab in Texas, and of interest to some of the SemiWiki readers:

PS this is what Tom had to say about Fab 52 last year:

Without her face and voice would the channel be so popular? Be honest.......

I'm a fan for sure but her content is going down and her marketing is going up. Not a great recipe for trust and without trust what do channels like this have? Constructive criticism Anastasi. I am still a follower.

I started listening to this video after seeing it pop up like 5 times. (Hey, I like Intel and 18A incase no one here has figured it out), and.. it was one of those "discussion circles" audio track scenarios. (Repeat the same thing 5 different times and ways.. almost like I'm doing here).

I think she's had a few videos in the past that were interesting with mostly unique content, but this was a click and time farm video for sure.

actually some of her content has been good over the years. but it is getting to be more AI content and marketing hype.

The first tool was in Oregon. Last time I checked it was not being used in Arizona.... but I am not sure what has changed. Fab 52 volume is not higher than TSMC Arizona volume last I checked. Intel is not running 10K wafers per week. I am planning a trip to visit Arizona to get more info on TSMC and Intel fabs

More importantly. HighNA will not win the war for Intel, 18A GAA is good but so is TSMC (that is why Intel is using TSMC N2 for Nova Lake). BSPD will not win the war for Intel.

18A is nice. It is not clearly ahead of TSMC but is in the same league with some advantages and disadvantages. 14A will be the same.

The big challenge for Intel is low volume on 18A.... it is not projected to be a full volume until 2030 ..... They need foundry customers ASAP.
